Cobalt blue and an extra heavy application of super scarce silky CHOCOLATE OXBLOOD almost completely cover a translucent cloudy white base glass of the Akro Agate ACE family of marbles making what collectors call a BLUE CHOCOLATE OXBLOOD ACE.
I listed the size in the title as 3/4-" because it is just a hair less than a full 3/4", but it is larger than 47/64"--about half way in between in fact. The actual digital measurements are listed below. So, a BLUE OXBLOOD marble is always a decidedly desireable marble, and CHOCOLATE OXBLOOD, is rarely seen on any example, and even less a very near 3/4" shooter, we have a certain center-piece for any high-end collection. Now add to all that the exceptionally wonderful WET MINT condition: we have an specimen that I have a great fondness for in my own collection. But, being a marble dealer, everything I have is for sale and I've been holding back with this one long enough. Time to join the rest of the community. If you are not familiar with CHOCOLATE OXBLOOD, you can compare this one with another BLUE OXBLOOD ACE that I have for sale, GM1876, that is very similar to this one but has the regular OXBLOOD. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 or even better. I cannot find anything wrong with this marble to describe. WET MINT--MUSEUM QUALITY. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 18.83mm or 0.741" at the equator. | |||||
