Lots of color on this beauty, including: two distinct yellows, red, orange, royal blue, aqua-marine, light apple green, white, carnelian, and what looks like OXBLOOD to me. Check the second, fifth, and sixth pictures.
As with all of these SPARKLERs that I've ever had, the little so-called Pre-Freeze, eyelash-like marks are present indicating the marble was made sometime prior to April of 1922, when the Freeze Improvement was installed which eliminated the marks. I can't say with assurance that there were none of these SPARKLERs made at a later date, but I've never seen one. CONDITION: WET MINT(+) 9.8 Or better. I am very close to calling this one a 9.9, but it's barely possible that I missed something. Besides the wet shiny look of a WET MINT marble, I can find no anomalies of any kind including: bubble pops, pinpricks, annealing lines, or even bubble pops. This is as close as you will ever get to a perfect machine made marble. Definitely MUSEUM QUALITY. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.32mm or 0.642" at the equator. | |||||
