Here's one that is a little difficult to describe. The base glass is snow white and there are apparently black flamey swirls with tracers of violet and brown. Close inspection shows the black to be suffused with a deep black-coffee brown. Some of the Alley experts have advised me that most of their black marbles were really a very dark purple, which is true of most black colored, amythist, glass.
CONDITION: NEAR MINT 8.7 The surface has a nice shine to it with a slight hint of wear. Also, there is a noticeable hit or open air bubble visible in the black near the center of the fourth and toward the right edge of the fifth pictures. There are some tiny as-mades that really don't affect the grade. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.55mm or 0.690" at the equator. | |||||
