Here's one that almost all antique German handmade lovers are looking for: A NAKED RAZOR RIBBON Swirl with a brightly colored ribbon that makes almost a full twist.
One of the pontail marks is a slick melted pig-tail and the other is exquisitely ground, except for the large pit that was knocked out, making this one of the earliest of the glass marbles, circa 1850-1870. CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.2 The surface has a wet shiny look with just the slightest hint of wear that requires magnification to see. The main problem is shown near the top of the third and just below center in the sixth pictures: It appears that while the artist was grinding the basal pontail mark, he caught a piece of the main body of the marble and jerked out a circular shape right beside the pontail mark.
