Now here is a very special Akro Agate CORKSCREW. Striations of orange, yellow, white, and blends twist their way around, just below the surface, of a crystal clear and bubble filled base glass. Collectors would call this a TRI-COLOR SNAKE.
The pattern is mesmerizing from any view you wish to observe. An absolutely fantastic marble, especially in this wonderful 100 year old mint condition. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of wear at all. All I have been able to find are a couple of very tiny as-made pinpoints that are visible at the upper right edge of the fourth picture. I didn't even notice these until I was posting these enlarging pictures. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.93mm or 0.666" at the equator. | |||||
