The base glass is a beautiful transparent forest green with white swirls beneath the surface. On and just below the surface are emphatic CORAL/SALMON swirls that make for great eye-appeal. In the past many collectors attributed these CORAL SWIRLS to the Christensen Agate Co., but later discoveries have shown them to be products of ALLEY AGATE.
CONDITION: MINT 9.5 The surface is wet and shiny and there is no sign of wear. All I can find is some sub-surface specks of unmelted sand or possibly potash. Also, there are some very tiny, clearly as-made, pinpoints that are unquestionably insignificant. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.11mm or 0.595" at the equator. | |||||
