Gorgeous example of a CAC OPAQUE SWIRL. I wouldn't really say there is a "base" glass, just opaque red, and yellow swirling among each other in a quite lively pattern that unquestionably says Christensen. A very eye-appealing piece with lots of activity.
CONDITION: MINT 9.5 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of wear at all. there are some very tiny pinpoint sized melted dimples, a few of which show up white in the pictures but are only reflecting light from the flash--they are not there in hand. Also, the marble is just a slight bit out of round, but very few aren't. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.27mm or 0.638" at the equator. | |||||
