Remarkable marble here! When backlit, first and second pictures, the base glass manifests a transparent purple with a myriad of CHAMPAIGN bubbles and a snake-like yellow corkscrew on the surface. When the back light is turned off, the marble becomes a dark brown and yellow cork. Quite a set of unique features.
I didn't capture them very well, but the ends of each corkscrew show the eyelash-like marks indicative of the manufacture period of sometime prior to the controversial Freeze improvement, circa 1922. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 or better. The slick shiny surface presents no flaws at all. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.23mm or 0.639" at the equator. | |||||
