I think this is one of the most significant finds I've had in quite a long time. This robin's-egg blue base glass with purple swirls is known to collectors as an Alley Agate BLUE LADY. I've only had two or three of these over the years and every one of them was in, let's face it, poor condition--probably because it's so unique and pretty, it got a lot of play; at any rate, this is the first one I've had in this wonderful MINT condition.
CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of wear at all. The only thing I can find is a short shallow dent/creas, shown in the fifth picture and a sub-surface reflection at the end of it. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.09mm or 0.633" at the equator. | |||||
