There are four black-coffee colored ribbons meeting at two seams on a rather golden yellow base glass, a pleasant change from the more mustard like color of most BEEs. There is a bit more than moderate amount of aventurine in the ribbons--a lot more than I was able to pick up in the pictures, you certainlly don't have to search for it when the marble is in hand. Actually this example of a BRONZE BEE by the Peltier Glass Company is rather high on the rare rating and are seldom seen anywhere in this wonderful mint condition.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 The surface is wet and shiny like a brand new marble with no sign of wear at all. There are only acouple of microscopic as-mades that I only mention because I try to leave nothing out. You need a lense to see them. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.67mm or 0.617" at the equator. | |||||
