Known to collectors as a Peltier NLR DRAGON, the base glass is a dark pea-soup green with even darker red ribbons that swirl unevenly on the surface and meet at two random looking seams.
CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.2 The surface is nice and shiny with just the faintest whisper of slight, almost microscopic, wear--click on the first picture for a greatly enlarged view to see the worst of it. There is a pinprick, also shown in the first picture, that is about the size of a grain of salt that I believe is as-made, as are all of the creases roller marks and dimples. It appears this marble had a bit of rough trip through the shaping rollers while it was still hot. Everything you see was done at the factory when it was made. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.31mm or 0.642" at the equator. | |||||
