Here is a huge, well over 7/8", Peltier with a solid jet black base glass and two multi-colored patches. One is a sort of off-white with streaks of peach, pink, orange, and a pale lavender. the other is a conglomeration of yellow and white with a couple of streaks of the peach and orange. These are called NOVAs by collectors and are really quite rare. These were some of the last marbles made by the Peltier Glass company. I believe but am by no means sure, sometime in the 1970s when they made a few of these and a some others that I'm really not familiar with.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 or better. The surface has the wet shiny look of a brand new marble with no sign of wear that I can find even with a bright light and lense. The pictures show a just rendering of the marble's condition. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 22.77mm or 0.894" at the equator. | |||||
