I sometimes believe there is no end to the color combinations Akro Agate came up with for their basic two-color PRIZE NAME CORKSCREWs. This one comes in pistachio green and jet black, one of the hardest of the PRIZE NAME combinations to be able to find--especially in this wonderful nearly perfect mint condition.
Showing the little eyelash-like marks at each of the poles this one brags of a manufacture date prior to the Spring of 1922 when the so-called "Freeze Improvement" was installed to remove these little marks, and making it among the first marbles to ever be MADE IN AMERICA! CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 or even better. The surface and everything else about this marble is in WET MINT nearly perfect condition. Truly a museum quality example.
