Here is a very nice old Akro Agate CORKSCREW with a nice swirling spin and a good contrasting color combination including: basically yellow and blue with a blueish-grey ribbon and striations of some red/orange blending with the yellow. Visually outstanding with lots of eye-appeal as the corkscrews meanders at least a full turn and a half around each other--impressive in hand or on display with others.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 The surface has the wet high gloss finish expected of a marble rated this high, and shows no sign at all of play or wear of any kind. Close examination with a bright light and lense reveal only two very tiny melted dimples as a result of miniscule bubbles that had approached the surface but collapsed inward leaving a slight depression.
