MINT 5/8" Akro Agate DARK PURPLE POPEYE CORKSCREW

Here's one of the harder of the Akro Agate POPEYE family to get your hands on: the DARK PURPLE and YELLOW version. This one is really quite a bit more scarce than the lighter purple and those are hard enough to find. The white wispy threads on this one presents a fabulous pattern as it leads the way for the colors to twist around each other. CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny with the look of a brand new marble. I can find no evidence of play or wear, but there are some microscopic as-mades that are only visible with the aid of a bright light and lens or these enlarged pictures.
