Here's probably the most famous of all the marbles in the world of marble collecting. Even non-marble people are aware of this one and it's notoriety. Using nearly every color in the CAC palatte, this marble is so completely covered that it's almost impossible to tell what the base color glass was used in it's formation. Christensen, one of the earliest of the American marble manufacturers, was only in business for a short time, and during that time produced very few of these GUINEAs, so any that you may come across today are a rare find indeed. I know it's the first one I've seen available in quite some time, and about all I do is hunt for marbles.
CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.2 The surface is nice and shiny with no sign of play or wear and no blow-holes or annealing fractures, but there are some tiny as-made places that look like got permeated with soot or something while the marble was still hot, because it won't come out.
