Dark sea-green/blue and white swirls meander around an exceptionally UV reactive bright green vaseline base glass. The "stuff" in the glass recipe that causes vaseline glass to glow when exposed to a black, Ultra-Violet, light is uranium oxide. The green vaseline glass, which is a bit more rare than the yellow, indicates that there is a heavier presence of the uranium oxide in the mixture than the yellow.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 OR BETTER. The surface is PRISTINE WET MINT. I've inspected this marble extensively with a bright light and 10x jewelers loupe and I can find no issues whatever. Surely a MUSEUM QUALITY marble. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.31mm or 0.602" at the equator. | |||||
