Here's a really tough marble to find! With a clear base glass covered with a white translucent "skin" and decorated with cobalt blue spots: The SPOTTED ONIONSKIN CLOUD. It's hard to emphasize enough just how rare these SPOTTED varieties are, and just how especially rare they are in this huge toe-breaking, near 1-1/4" size it is, and to top it all off, the extraordinary unplayed-with condition.
CONDITION: MINT 9.5 Nice wet shiny surface. I can only find a faint whisper of wear that I tried to show in the first picture. It should show up just above the blue spot very near the center of the image; it is just too light for my camera to pick up. Likewise, there is a tiny surface air bubble shown near the center of the third picture. The rest of the marble is totally clean and has seen no play, even the pontail marks are as clean as the day they were created. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 31.42mm or 1.237" at the equator. | |||||
