Here is an extremely rare example of one of Akro Agate's earlier ventures in their marble making effort. At just a hair under a full inch, and a set of very rare colors which are shown better than I can describe. I've only seen a two of three of these in all the years I have been collecting/selling marbles, and it is certainly the first I've ever had my hands on, and wasn't I lucky to have it be in such wonderful mint condition.
CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.3 The surface is all original, wet, and shiny, with no sign of wear of any kind. The only anomaly that I can find is a cold-roll crease that can be seen in the most of the pictures provided. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 25.04mm or 0.985" at the equator. | |||||
