Here's an old standby of the Peltier Rainbo family: with red and white ribbons on a clear base glass that collectors have named a SUNSET; however, the clear glass on this one is transparent yellow--a change from the norm that vaults this little beauty to the ranks of the rare Rainbos. Of the thousands of Rainbos that I've been through over the years, and literally hundreds of SUNSETs, this is only the second or third yellow glass example that I've ever seen--and the only one in such wonderful MINT condition.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 The surface has the wet shiny look of a brand new marble. There are shallow creases at the seams and a bit of wrinkling. That's all there is to describe--as good as it gets. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.65mm or 0.655" at the equator. | |||||
