This is one of my all-time favorites from Akro Agate. Three distinct orange CORKSCREWs make two and one half turns around a translucent cloudy white ACE family base glass. Part of the allure is that the wider of the corkscrews is a beautiful bright orange while of the two thinner ones, one has a bit of a yellow tint and the other is more red. The effect is a magnificent TIGHT-LINE tri-color CORKSCREW that is nearly irresistable. They must be getting pretty rare, because I sold the one I had nearly 20 years ago and this is the first one I've been able to procure since. With the marvelous colors and pattern, and the full 3/4" plus SHOOTER size, and on top of it all, the wonderful MINT condition: This is a true piece of eye-candy worthy of any high end collection. I know mine is certainly enhanced by it's presence.
CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny with just the faintest hint of wear that can only be seen with the ade of a bright light and lense. There is a short and shallow scratch-like mark that shows up in the second picture, but even that has melted edges and appears to be as-made. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 19.20mm or 0.756" at the equator. | |||||
