This is an absolutely gorgeous example of the CAC STRIPED OPAQUE: Brilliant, as only CAC marbles can be, red and yellow stripes are swirled straight from the single seam, on the jet black base glass, all the way around the marble shown in the quarter turn images of the first through fourth pictures. The line in the fourth picture is not a seam, but a crease in the surface. The fifth picture shows the famous CAC DIAPER FOLD pattern, and the sixth shows the opposite side of that.
This is one of those few marbles that can be shown on display from any position and it will steal the show. One of the most eye-catching piecess of eye-candy that I possess. CONDITION: MINT 9.6 PRISTINE wet mint surface with no sign of play or wear what-so-ever. As you can see in the first three pictures, there is some tiny, almost microscopic, pitting, or dimples on one side of the marble that is clearly as-made. None of this is visible in hand. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.37mm or 0.605" at the equator. | |||||
