WOW! what a handful of almost eatable eye-candy. This gorgeous artwork, at more than one and a quarter inches, is literaly a handful, and just a glimpse justifies the the rather whimsical description of eye-candy.
There's a lot to describe here. First: just below the surface are four well spaced vertical narrow ribbons, yellow, orange, and two red, separated by four vertical sets of two lattice lined. Below that are three ribbons, yellow, orange, and a darker orange; all edged with thin black lines. Then at the core is a tightly woven latticinio web with alternating white with baby blue, orange, red, and yellow. This has to be one of the most intricate designs I've ever had the pleasure of owning. When you are able to hold this masterpiece in your hand and see all that is going on, you can't help but know that Jody Fine has the keen eye and steady nerve to support the imagination of a true artist. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.9-10.0 PRISTINE, WET MINT and ready for the MUSEUM. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 13.21mm or 1.307" at the equator. | |||||
