I was always taught that an Akro ONYX CORKSCREW was a transparent colored glass with a white corkscrew within. This marble has the transparent GOLDEN AMBER base glass, but the corkscrew is EGGYOLK YELLOW; so, not quite, but in lieu of what else to call it, an ONYX it is--I am open to correction. One of the lovely parts of our hobby is that when it's your's, you get to call it whatever you like.
Regardless of the name, or category you may want to place this marble, it's doubtful that you have one like it. The transparent golden amber is an unusual color recipe, as well as is having the eggyolk corkscrew complimenting it.
CONDITION: MINT 9.5 The surface is nice and shiny with a few melted dimples from bubbles almost making it to the surface and collapsing inward. There also a couple of leading edges of a few bubbles that made it to the surface and created very tiny, almost microscopic, as-made pinpoints. Also, rather that the wet shiny look of most mint marbles, you can see evidence of roller tracks where the marble was still very hot when introduced to the final rounding process.
