I remember when I was a kid some of the old-timers, my age now, would look through our marbles and remarking on some of the different old marbles we had; when one of these old LINED CROCKERY marbles would show up, they called them JASPERS. I still know know what that meant, but that was their name. We didn't come across all that many that were that old. They were way before my time. They weren't all that prolific when I was a youngin', and you rarely see one now days, and when you do, they are usually all beat up. This one isn't.
CONDITION: MINT. I don't see any signs of play or wear, and there are no hairlines in the glaze even. I would say this marble is in the same condition it was when it was first made, i.e. MINT. If you buy it and don't agree, it is 100% guaranteed. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 20.01mm or 0.786" at the equator. | |||||
