A grass green patch, followed by a yellow ribbon, then the green ribbon, followed by a yellow patch; this is the description of the MARBLE KING PATCH and RIBBONS that they started out with in the late 1940s and early '50s. The ribbons meet flush at the seams in the OLD SCHOOL models of the Patch and Ribbon varieties, and the colors are not quite as bright as the later models. With the growing marble collector community, these older examples have become quite seldom seen.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The surface is wet and shiny and I can find no signs of play or wear at all. There is one very tiny surface air bubble visible in the first picture. Even a bright light and lens brings nothing else to note. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.43mm or 0.647" at the equator. | |||||
