In my ignorance, I always thought that the Vitro 8-FINGERs were a form of caged catseye with a lot of "fingers". I must have been wrong in my thinking because I never heard of an opaque catseye and this one is either opaque black or a deep dark coffee brown. I'm inclined to think black. With the almost horseshoe seam, I would have almost said this might be a Peltier, but I am inclined to believe it is as the label states a VITRO AGATE BLACK OPAQUE 8-FINGER. If any of you Vitro, or Peltier experts out there can set me straight, I would certainly and honestly appreciate your input. My email address is on my HOME PAGE.
CONDITION: WET MINT 9.8 The surface is wet and shiny with only one tiny flaw that you can almost see in the second picture. There is a very slight depression with melted edges and a bit of white beneath it right in the seam and appears to connect the two ribbons--almost. That's not much of a flaw, but that's all I can find. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.53mm or 0.653" at the equator. | |||||
