I have never been a proponent of polished marbles unless it was to repair one that had lost all of it's eye-appeal. Of course, I have no idea what this one was like before, but the pattern now is an almost 3-D view that is absolutely remarkable and certainly one that can be cherished for years to come.
CONDITION: POLISHED: Whoever did the work on this marble is a first class artist in his own right. The only thing left over is a tiny open air-bubble visible in the lower left edge of the first picture, and can also be seen in the fifth and sixth images.
