Here's one of the most incredibly popular marbles that are in the Akro Agate family of collectables: the BLUE OXBLOOD ACE. The cloudy white semi-translucent base glass, the type used for the ACE family of marbles, sometimes called MOSS for others, has some bubbles inside but are actually only visible when backlit. On the surface is a cobalt blue swirl and another of oxblood. Both run from pole to pole, but nothing like a corkscrew, rather, a swirl.
