There is a light blue primary glass that has some darker blue lines running through it, then there are three colors of chocolate: mainly milk chocolate with dark chocolate splotches then a very dark, almost black, edge that follows the rest of the basically brown swirls throughout.
Just for a kick, I included a shot of what happens when this marble is exposed to a black, UV, light: The brown turns purple, and the blue turns white with the blue line that runs through it turning to a pinkish violet--interesting. Not a sign of uranium, but there is some chemical in the mix that is sensative to ultra-violate exposure. So, we have at least three colors, more like four or five, but even going with three, and none of them white, this is showing to be a rather special Christensen Agate marble. To add to that is the very large, for a CAC, 3/4" size which is very seldom seen in the collecting world, especially in this wonderful WET MINT condition. Oh yeah: There are even some Flame tips. Some marble huh. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7-9.8 PRISTINE WET MINT. I can find no evidence of play or wear of any kind. You can see two pin-point size melted dimples at about 8:00 o'clock in the first picture, and that's it. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 19.13mm or 0.753" at the equator. | |||||
