Here we have deep dark possibly black? ribbons, positively dripping with beautiful fine particals of BRONZE/BROWN aventurine, more or less meeting at two seams on the surface of a super-bright canary yellow base glass. This is the definition of what collectors have named, or are using the name: The Peltier NLR BRONZE or BROWN BEE. These have always been a rarity, but with the explosion of new members of the marble community, they have become almost impossible to find, especially in this wonderful near WET MINT condition. This is the best example I've ever had.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of wear of any kind, at all. Using magnification and bright lights, I could only find a total of three, clearly as-made, melted dimples, and they are very, very small. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.58mm or 0.653" at the equator. | |||||
