From start to finish this marble is designed and destined for greatness. The narrow tight white web at the core is nearly perfectly engineered, as are the wide and brightly colored ribbons that reside at the surface.
The pontail marks are both unfinished and nearly non-existant other than a nearly unnoticeable grind mark on the basal mark. The size, at a hair over a full inch, is perfect for the discriminate collector of museum quality large examples.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 or better: The wet shiny surface is unblemished but for a single tiny fingernail-like mark that shows up as you rotate the marble and disappears as you continue--escaped the pictures.
