While the black and red may not be a rare color combination it is far from common, and this particular example approaches unique: Black is uncommon in any marble and the red is an exceptionally dark maglight translucent--very difficult to photograph, see sixth picture (backlit). Please excuse the white dandruff-looking specks on the surface, they are debris left from my cleaning rag.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of wear that I can see, even with magnification. There are some melted dimples here and there and a couple of flecks of sub-surface sodash seen as small spots at the edges of the red. You may click here to view the grading system I use.
