From most views, the base glass appears green, but as I think you can see from the pictures it is transparent clear with a myriad of tiny champaign bubbles. The red and green ribbons, charactoristic of those made on the RAINBO machines of the 1940s, run on the surface from seam to seam and reach down toward the center; whereas, on the older National Line Rainbos, the ribbons are only on and just below the surface.
CONDITION: MINT 9.6-9.7 Beautiful wet, shiny surface with absolutly no sign of play or wear of any kind. There are some melted dimples and a slight cold roll--crease, but that's it.
