Here is an absolutely gorgeous antique German JOSEPH's COAT Swirl. The base glass is so clear and the colors so vibrant, it almost makes you think of contemporary glass--it isn't. The colors are primarily yellow, then probably an even distribution of red, orange, green, and white with a few narrow windows that allow you to see all the way to the back of the colors on the other side. I search for these antique marbles all over the world and I have found many breath-taking examples, but this one tops them all for nearly perfect MINT condition. You'll want this one around just to show fellow collectors just what a MINT example is supposed to look like.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 or better. This surface is this marble is near perfect; in fact, the only thing that keeps this marble from a 9.8 or 9.9 rating is that it is a little out of round as you can see when you compare the third and fourth pictures. Sort of shaped like a top from one view and perfectly round in another. The actual measurements are 0.914"-0.924"; still, only about 0.01" inches total discrepancy from perfect. You just don't get to see them in this condition every day. Some of the tiny bubbles look like they may have made it to the surface, be assured they didn't.
