Here is a rather different combination of colors for an Akro Agate Corkscrew: always rare black and yellow, but this black and yellow is accompanied by a pale creamy, almost custard-like, yellow.
CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.3 The surface is wet and shiny with no actual signs of wear. You will notice a couple of scratch-like marks: one near the center of the third picture, and another that shows up twice--in the first and sixth picture. You may also notice that they both have melted edges indicating these marks were mady while the marble was hot, and therefor as-made. If you prefer, I guess the overall condition could be considered to be NEAR MINT(+). Personally, I believe the marble left the factory in the condition it is now. There are also a couple of small melted dimples. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.91mm or 0.626" at the equator. | |||||
