It has almost become an obsession wit me to find one of these CAC BLUE LACE TRANSPARENT swirls that doesn't have the annealing fracture that it seems like nearly all have. None of the CAC collectors that I know are willing to part with--one cracks or otherwise. Of course any CAC transparent swirl is an almost impossible find, but this one is particularly difficult and consequently more popular even than most. Here is one without the crack, but it has another nearly insignificant as-made problem of it's own described below with the condition.
CONDITION: MINT(-) There is a nice wet surface with no sign of play or wear except for what looks like an as-made dimple with rounded edges, but that appears to be the source of a sub-surface circle reflection, fourth picture, that mainly goes away when the marble is rotated. I didn't notice it at all until I took these pictures and that is all I can find. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.45mm or 0.608" at the equator. | |||||
