Here's one of the most heralded of all the marbles available to the collecting world today: The Peltier National Line Rainbo SUPERMAN. Six brilliant ribbons, four red and two yellow, meet at two seams on the surface of a robin's egg blue base glass. No high end collection, especially Peltier, is complete without at least one--and it's getting mighty hard to find even one in this wonderful mint condition.
CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny and there is no sign of wear at all; however, if you look at the top of the first and second pictures, and the center of the fourth, you can see a cluster of very tiny, shallow pinpoints, all with melted edges, so clearly as-made. I draw your attention to the top of the fifth picture where all of this happened to catch the lighting just right to give you the best view of everything I just detailed--A lot of words to describe so very little. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.06mm or 0.632" at the equator. | |||||
