The base glass is exceptionally clear with five different colored ribbons reaching for the center: yellow, blue, turquois, red, and white. These have been know to collectors as the Peltier FRUIT SALAD, or FRUIT COCTAIL for years and have become highly sought of late with very volatile prices. As with all popular varieties, these are getting hard to procure, and nearly impossible in this wonderful wet mint condition.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 PRISTINE WET MINT. The surface of this one has no blemishes that I can find at all. That in itself is remarkable for any Peltier marble to not have any blow-holes or the tiny melted dimples so prevalent in nearly all of their products, especially the Rainbos. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.41mm or 0.604" at the equator. | |||||
