Here is one of the rarest and most difficult marbles to find in the collecting world. A GREEN based STRIPED TRANSPARENT SUBMARINE. First, green is the rarest of the transparent colors in the Christensen pallatte. Then there are multi-colored stripes running from seam to seam, not only on the surface but down inside the marble also. I can see a couple of shades of blue, and green, yellow/orange, purple, white, and salmon. All converging at one seam and making the classic CAC striped pattern as they return to the other.
I have taken the first two pictures of the opposing seams, then trying my best to make ten pictures at 36 ° rotations, so that you can see the intricate pattern this lovely jewell makes. I've also included two back-lit pictures at the end for those of you who like that sort of thing. You don't see these very often, even in the books, much less one that is available. CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of wear at all. There is only one small shallow depression that's a bit larger than most dimples, but is basically the same thing. It shows up in the second picture as well as a few others, best seen in the tenth, as the marble is rotated slowly for complete viewing description.
