There is a single red, white, and blue ribbon at the center of an amazingly crystal clear base glass. It is a pleasure just to hold and gaze at this true gem of a tribute to America's first Centenial birthday by the German glass makers of the nineteenth century, circa 1876. The two exquisite pontail marks are unfinished with a twisted pig-tail on one end and a fabulously clean break at the other. This is the closest thing to the American flag that I've seen, and a very expert job of it in my opinion.
CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface is wet and shiny with a single touch mark that has melted edges--see the third picture for the best view. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 19.53mm or 0.770" at the equator. | |||||
