From what I gather, these are the product of Peltier's 1970s retooling some of their machines for some "modern" runs; I believe they were made at the same time as the NOVAs and a few others, all distinctive and easily distinquished from the older examples. I've always thought of these ROOTBEER FLOATs as a very large Peltier Catseye in amber glass, and that is probably the best way I know to describe them. Quite rare as collectables and very popular.
CONDITION: MINT(-)/NEAR MINT(++) The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of play, but there is just the slightest amount of microscopic wear that can only be seen in these oversizing pictures or with the aid of a bright light and lens. I can find no other anomalies whatever; not even any of the little melted dimples or the annealing fractures, common to the type, or anything else.
