This gorgeous beauty is unsigned but there is no doubt in my mind that it was made by one of the day's most exemplary artists: JODY FINE. There is so much going on in this marble that it's really hard to describe. It appears, to me, to have a red latticinio web in the inner core that is immediately surrounded by another latticinio web of wider lattice lines of many colors including: royal blue, powder blue, chartreaus yellow, yellow, two distinct oranges, and a purple; some of these are covered with bubbles from pole to pole. Then, on the surface are wide rainbo bands made up of the same colors as the those inside. Simply a breath-taking example of one of today's finest glass professionals.
CONDITION: WET MINT, PRISTINE As close to perfect as it is possible to get. What appear to be dimples near the center of the second picture are actually some of the bubbles on the interior bands. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 33.24mm or 1.308" at the equator. | |||||
