This is a gorgeous, if small, example of the Peltier National Line Rainbo: KETCHUP & MUSTARD; Long recognized for it's bright transparent red and yellow ribbons on the snow white base glass. This marble has such a shine that it almost looks cased in clear glass. Produced by Peltier Glass and marketed as the National Line Rainbo throughout the 1920s and 30s, before giving way to the more inexpensive Rainbo models of the 1940s. These have become some of the most prized collectables of marble connoisseurs in the world today.
CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.4 There is a super-wet shiny surface with no sign of wear at all. If you will look closely at about 10:00 o'clock near the edge of the first picture and at about 1:30 on the sixth picture, you can see what appears to be a small ding, but I assure you that the edges are melted and there is a little melted tit in the bottom, indicating that they are surely as-made, and as that is the only anomaly on the marble, it is in MINT condition; never-the-less, it is there so it will be reflected in the price of the marble.
