The lights or something cause the images to give a black and yellowish appearance; when in fact, the black is actually applied over a deep green, and the creamy yellow is streaked with translucent gold. The black eyelash-like marks are quite appealing and at the same time help to date this to an earlier period of Akro Agate's history, pre-1922, when the so-called "Freeze" improvement was installed that removed those marks.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of wear of any kind. All I can find at all are a couple of needle-point size dimples with melted edges visible near the top of the second picture. You may click here to view the grading system I use.
