One of Alley Agate's quite rare and very popular among collectors now days: Purple swirls on and in a robin's-egg blue base glass form what collectors are now calling a BLUE LADY. Made during Alley's sojourn in PENNSBORO, West Virginia circa 1933, I believe. Very hard to find in this condition--most that I have had have been pretty beat up.
CONDITION: NEAR MINT(+) The surface is wet and shiny and there is no evidence of wear. There are some pinprick sized as-mades, but there may be one or two that are not, so I must go with a near mint rating, but bear in mind how difficult it must be to have impact marks with no other signs of wear. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.34mm or 0.643" at the equator. | |||||
