I've always found this BLACK/BLUE color combination to be an intriguing amalgum. The black eyelash-like marks are present indicating a manufacture date of sometime prior to the Spring of 1922 when the so-called "Freeze" improvement was installed on Akro's machines that eliminated these marks. Not the most common of the Akro colors but, like this one, they do turn up every now and then. Highly collectable and quite popular, at least I haven't been able to keep any around for very long at a time.
CONDITION: MINT 9.5 The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of wear. There are some microscopic as-mades that show up in the pictures if you look closely and a single sub-surface reflection that shows up and disappears as the marble is rotated beneath a bright light and lense.
