There are a nearly uncountable number of outer lines just below the surface that surrounds bright red jelly ribbons that in turn surround a solid white core with a pink band running from pole to pole. Most of the pontail marks have been removed, but I'm almost certain this marble dates back to the early days of German manufacture, circa 1850-1870.
CONDITION: POLISHED The job must have been a light one because a little of the pontail marks are still visible in teh fifth and sixth pictures, other than that there isn't a lot of residual damage left.
