The vast majority of the Akro Agate ONYX family of corkscrews have a transparent colored base glass with a white corkscrew. This one is a bit different in that the base glass is a bubble filled transparent dark amber with an eggyolk yellow cork. Not the rarest of marbles, but any of these dear old antiques that can be found in this wonderful like-new MINT condition is a rare find indeed.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 or better. The surface is wet and shiny with no signs of play or wear of any kind. Very close examination with a bright light and jewelers loupe reveal a couple of microscopic as-mades that are to small to even show up in these enlarged pictures.
