Beautiful Emerals Green, Cobalt Blue,Strawberry Red Jelly ribbons are attached to contrasting opaque colored ribbons to form what collectors call a TRI-RIBBON DIVIDED CORE SWIRL. And as the delicious colorscene is happening, the huge size of the marble catches the eye as well. Just a gorgeous marble in excellent condition. The near perfectly ground basil pontail mark, and the diminishing pig-tail at the other end is not only charming but are able to tell us that they were made some time between 1850 and 1870
CONDITION: NEAR MINT(+) 8.8-8.9 There is a nice shiny wet looking surface but there is light wear present when closely inspected. I don't see any sign of play, just the very light wear that you will be able to see in my enlarged pictures. Even the pontail marks are as clean as the day they were made. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 36.61mm or 1.441" at the equator. | |||||
